Class Descriptions:

Monday - Friday

This option has flexibility to work with family's schedules and allows for children aged 3 years to 5 years old to be enrolled 5 days a week.  Please speak with Mrs. Shaules so that we can work together for the best option for your child.

3 - 5 year old classes:

Choose either 2, 3, 4 or 5 days a week for your child to give them the structure and routine that will make the transition from preschool to kindergarten an easier step to take.  Circle times will encourage sharing, listening to others, and group learning - all part of language development.  Fine motor skills are encouraged with plenty of opportunity for drawing, cutting, and creating in our writing and art centers.  These skills are invaluable for creating the basis for later success in kindergarten.  Outside play promotes large motor development and exploration in our sunny, cheerful yard with activities that change from day to day.  

Young 3's Class

It is recommended that children experiencing preschool for the first time, start off with a Tuesday/Thursday program option.  Our Young 3's Class helps children transition from parent to teacher with a schedule that gently eases them into a joyful opportunity for learning, making friends, and experiencing structure.

• 2 1/2 year olds** are welcome in our young 3's class.
•  Young 3's thrive on structure and routine.

Your 2 1/2 year old - 3 year old will start each day with about 20 minutes of play on our play yard, making the transition and separation time an easy process.  They will ease into their morning with their friends.  On the way back to the classroom, they'll stop by the bathrooms.  Entering the classroom, the students will see a classroom that is set up and welcoming with several options to choose from - dramatic play and block play, art experiences at the table, sensory play, and manipulatives to strengthen their fine motor skills.  Age appropriate experiences abound in this classroom, carefully designed to gently allow children to initiate play and discovery.
