Welcome to Monte Vista Preschool!
When my wife and I were considering whether we wanted to move to Newbury Park and whether God was calling me to serve as pastor at Monte Vista Presbyterian Church, we had lots of questions. As you know, when any of us consider moving our family, it’s a big decision. Prior to coming to the Conejo Valley, we lived in Ventura. We loved our church, our home and especially our preschool. Would Monte Vista Presbyterian Preschool even compare to what we had in Ventura?
As we walked on campus that first time and met the director and teachers, and saw how the preschool placed a priority on children learning, having fun and experiencing God through each other, we were hooked. Three of our children have attended Monte Vista Preschool over the past six years. Each of them had an outstanding experience and was well-prepared to enter kindergarten. What made the preschool work for our kids? The preschool staff is outstanding. They took an individual interest in each of our children and helped us to better understand how to care for them. Our children made good friends and as parents we were able to meet and enjoy other parents who were experiencing the same joys and struggles. It was perfect for us.
As pastor of Monte Vista, I am so proud of this ministry. Monte Vista Presbyterian Preschool has been an integral part of our church from its inception. The Preschool and church family work closely to create an environment that will help all our children thrive and parents succeed.
